We have win average for our MotoGP riders available but sometimes, you just need a quick view into how often your favorite riders has finished in a particular position. We often think of the exceptional finishes but sometimes it is interesting to to know what is normal. Averages only tell part of the story since they remove the highs and lows. This query gives you a look at what the common finishing positions are for any rider.

I recently added the Google earth view to the track info. For most tracks this gives you a really cool, up close view of the tracks. You can get right down to the ground level and "walk" around the track. I like this one a lot and it have wasted more of my time than is probably warranted on it but it is fun.
Check it out under "The Tracks" Section. If you click on each track's name in the menu it will bring up the details and the satellite image.
Note: Firefox users are experiencing a formatting issue where the map is showing up far to the right which forces them to scroll over to see the map. I am working on a solution now.

This weeks Featured Query
This query produces a chart of the points, rank and race finishing position for the current MotoGP season. This is probably one of the queries I use most because it makes it very easy to refresh my memory of the season so far for any rider.
